Each week on each of the parades, we draw out a number of tickets from the You Can Do It box. To get an entry into the draw, students need to exhibit Confidence, Organisation, Persistence, Resilience or Getting Along skills in class or in the playground. Apart from the acknowledgement that goes with “being caught” doing the right thing, the students also get to choose a reward. This may be in the form of vouchers or small gifts.
This term, I am happy to advise that the Big Blue Office in Buderim has provided us with about 30 stationery items that we will be using as lucky dip prizes, as one of the choices, to reward those children drawn out on parade.
