Orders for Issue 4 Bookclub are due back to school NO LATER than Tuesday 3rd June. Apologies for the quick turn around this time but I didn’t want to hand them out while BookFair was on.
Thank you to all who either helped out or supported our BookFair. It was most successful with our sales in excess of $6,000.00. Our commission will be great.

We have a new Business Services Manager relieving in the position until the end of term. Rob Jackman joins us from Nambour SHS until we can appoint a replacement for Lex Lowry.
If you have any queries about payments or payment plans, don’t hesitate to talk to Rob. He comes to us with a wealth of experience in administration and Human Resources, having worked for QUT in Brisbane for 15 years.
Please make him welcome when you see him around the school. Thanks.

The AFL recently took the opportunity to recognise the contribution that volunteers have played over 150 years of Australian Football. Our PE teacher, Tony Doherty, has provided an outstanding contribution to Australian Football and he was recognised for his contribution with the presentation of a Commemorative Australian Football 150 Years Volunteer Plaque.
We congratulate Tony for his outstanding service and commitment to Junior and Senior Football across the Sunshine Coast and the State. |

Here at Kuluin State School we aim to be innovative in our approach to science, always looking for new and exciting ways to introduce scientific concepts to our students.
On 29th May, we will be having CSIRO Educations "Lab On Legs" Program visit our school. While they are here, they will be presenting an interactive science program with the following Theme/s: Space Science Coastal.
We are very excited about this event ! The Brisbane CSIRO Science Education Centre creates a dynamic interactive forum within which students can take a hands on role. Their program engages students in an eye-opening interactive science theatre and hands on experiments, which have been developed around real-life CSIRO research. Our students will become the scientists, rather than just reading about them. All Year 3's will be participating on this day.
