The Prep
Program at Kuluin State School is a full time program. Children attend
from Monday – Friday during normal school hours (8.50am to 3.00pm).
The Preparatory Year is the important first year of
schooling. Children must turn five by the 30th June in the year they
commence Prep.
Our Prep classrooms are noted for their child focused
programs and our commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. We pride
ourselves on the close relationship we have with parents and the wider
community and we foster a genuine desire to learn through an innovative
curriculum that has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy.
Prep tours
Come and join our Deputy Principal, Mrs Kelly Ayres on a
guided tour of our school giving your child a look at the Prep Classrooms, Prep Playground, Resource Centre, Tuckshop and the School Hall. Tours start at 9.30am. Please meet at the Office

Prep transition days and parents sessions (for enrolled 2024 students only)
Please attend only ONE of these sessions.
Monday 28th October 9.15am - 10.15am OR
Friday 1st November 9.15am - 10.15am
Students will get a taste of Prep whilst parents attend an information
session in the hall with the Leadership Team and
experienced Prep teachers. Sessions will cover transition
processes and what to expect for the first year of school.
